They're playing with their B team and they swept their group. (Included cupcake teams Belize and Cuba, then A rematch in the sweltering heat vs Costa Rica.)

Yeah, I was kinda rooting for Mexico to fail to qualify for the quarters. They've been a joke recently.

They're third in the final round for CONCACAF World Cup Qualification Right now.
They were a joke at Confederations Cup
And they did lose against Panama in the group stage

Quarterfinals start tonight Mexico plays Trinidad and Tobago and Panama plays Cuba.
Tomorrow has the US playing El Salvador and Honduras playing Costa Rica
