Season 6 won't be split into two separate arcs like it's been since Season 3, looks like we're gonna have more of a Seasons 1 and 2 approach.

So now it'll be 2 episodes here, 1 episode there for 9 months.

I prefer 2 uninterrupted runs.

I don't mind the odd small break if it means the four month breaks are a thing of the past.

Apparently so. It has a dramatic impact on ratings due to the big wait, so they're trying to spread it out over the 8 months (so may only get a couple of episodes in a row then a few weeks break, etc. like most other networks)

I love it. I know some people find the apple thing boring now but I don't mind them having a continuing motif as a sort of symbol for the show as long as they change it up to suit the season and I love the theme they've gone for with it this year. I'm really excited for more Evil Queen in Season 6.

About this, it's being rumoured that Sinbad and Scheherazade might actually end up being Aladdin and Jasmine (wouldn't be unheard of, I remember the Merida casting call was announced as someone called Evanna who was apparently Rumple's mother and Pan was announced as Rufio, so if they wanted to keep it quiet I could see them doing it again here). If they do, it would be amazing if they managed to get Naveen Andrews back as Jafar, he was brilliant in the Wonderland spin-off (but I don't know how busy he is with Sense8 / other projects).

Even if Aladdin and Jasmine don't show up, I still want Jafar in the main show at some point, he's one of my favourite OUaT villains.

I'm so excited for this, I've wanted Jafar on the main show ever since the Wonderland show, I loved how genuinely sinister he was. It doesn't even bother me that they've had to recast him because Oded Fehr looks like he'll be brilliant. (and I remember a lot of people wanted Oded for the role way before they ever introduced Jafar in the first place )

I just hope they address his Wonderland story since he was trapped in a Genie bottle at the end of that.

I hope not (and the Jafar thing wouldn't be hard to give an explanation for to be fair). Even when they had Will in Season 4 they had a scene of him looking at a picture of the Red Queen in the book so it's always been intended for it to be fully canon. There was just no real place for him in the main show despite them trying to shoehorn him in, the whole Will thing was terribly handled but I just hope they do better with Jafar.
