It's one thing to give advice to make someone feel better, but it's an entirely different thing to feed that person advice that will possibly change their strategy long term (ie give them false hope) and thus likely to get them nominated... maybe even evicted. She is competing in a game against Martha. She has no concept of what the outside are actually seeing/thinking, so her suggesting* she knows how the public thinks is a deceptive move.

She did the same shady **** with Daze. Daze didn't have to get evicted so soon. She had a following and could've grown it. I feel if she had approached the game tactically instead of relying on Ali, who was not going to do anything but tell her how great she is, she could've recovered her relationships in the house with the other HMs and could've avoided key nominations.

Ali is only interested in preserving Ali. I'm not saying that is "evil", I'm saying she's playing a game which she is in there to do. We can't forget that. So utilizing her therapy background, she's able to target the controversial (ie most likely to get nominated) folk first, and it's a way to wedge herself in to give them "good advice" which is more likely to get them nominated. It's a major conflict of interest, anyway. I think people like Nathan are wise to it, but Daze, Lily and even Martha to a degree are a bit more emotional and so won't see what is happening until it's put a target on their back... which funny enough, only attaches them even more to Ali. That's why it's a great move. It's a way HMs can both get camera time and preserve themselves by thrusting the weaker candidates (more likely to get booted first) people up front... by giving them nothing but sweet words.

Compare to Hanah, who does not always deliver sweet words , but she'll tell you right away you're being a twat... Ali only does it when it is convenient for her strategy.

We do not have to agree on anything, obviously, but that's what I've been seeing...

Ali nearly left because she thought the argument with Khalid would make her public enemy number 1….
So telling Martha 1 argument won’t affect her is typical of Ali contradicting herself…

At the start of tonights episode while all HM’s were sitting on the settees waiting to hear which of the four nominated was to be evicted (Fridays replay), Khaled openly said “all love” and the camera immediately showed Ali roll her eyes …

Then, as Izzaz’s name was called, you clearly saw Ali twist her face and undoubtedly mouth the ‘f’ word ….

Considering how she made a point of clearing the air and apologised to Khaled and Marcello for pairing them together and then choosing them in the save and replace, it really solidified my opinion of her character - and it’s not a good one!
