If there was one of the other refs who are all card happy giving out 7 - 8 in normal games during the world cup, whereas webb usually gives out few.

I think holland would have been down to 9 men and spain down to 10.


Honestly do you really want a player sent off in the world cup final??
Webb had no choice in the end but the decision to send him off was right.

Ah, he made incorrect decisions at pivotal moments. Hey, it was no picnic out there obviously, but I think he lost control in the first half and then was obviously told to take a stronger stance against the Dutch in the second half, which resulted in a few very questionable calls.

It was just messy Ben, and Van Bommel should have been off by half time. You need to put your foot down, even if it's a World Cup final.
