It reminds me of Summertime when I was 8 years old with my friends. We had no worries what so ever, camping out by the river with a BBQ and this song blaring on the radio. It almost makes me teary because I miss those times awfully.

No, no.. I don't think that's weird at all. Nostalgia is muchmore than just memories, it's something that even a smell can stir up. I can sometimes smell a perfume or something that I used to wear and it takes me right back to a certain time or place.

there's a certain scent that I can relate to the the Middle East, a certain one for Cyprus ;...... as well as the more personal ones such as perfume or a cooked dish etc.

Smells make me nostalgic aswell, like just yesterday my Mum was cooking and the smell took me right back to a holiday we had in Malta, the smell reminded me of the dining room smell - nice feeling.

Also you know when you've been holding dirty metal/chains and the smell of like rust and 'age' is on your hands, that reminds me of being on the swings at the park when I was younger!
