And I'm not the most intelligent persobn. Far, far, far from it, but to compare Lady GaGa with Elton John....WTF!!!?!?!??!

I don't even like Elton John's music, but for how long he has been around and the amount of records he has sold, well, it says it all really.

Let's see if Lady Gaga is still around in 3-5 years and producing number 1 hits/albums.

Elton has always allowed his songs to be used on these talent shows. So there's been no change of mind on his part.

I guess he's just not precious about his music and can separate business interest from his own reservations about these shows generally.

Elton John may not be an adonis but he IS an icon,he has been around decades and made some very memorable songs,Lady Gaga aint fit enough to lick his boots,and can she even sing?that's debatable
