And yet it is not. There is something wrong with her if she can't get any action with someone more age appropriate. Just because the boy might be biologically ready, doesn't mean he is emotionally or pscyhologically ready.

She was prosecuted. She has been charged with sexual activity with an underage person. The CPS looked at the evidence they had, looked at the reliability of the male in question and realised they wouldnt get a conviction for that charge. Thats called an unsuccessful prosecution.

She was successfully prosecuted for abducting him, she pleaded guilty to that charge and was sentenced to 35 weeks in prison (suspended for two years).

The judge who sentenced her said he was satisfied no sexual activity had occurred between the two.

People can say it was some sort of deal between the defence and the CPS but it doesnt change the fact they decided not to proceed with the sexual activity charges. It could also have been because the defence had a witness or two to whom the boy had admitted the accusations of the sexual activity were made up.

There is a principle in the UK that a person is to be presumed innocent of a crime until they are found guilty in a court of law.

Seems to me its just this lad trying to defend his honesty, make a bit of readies by selling his story of how aggrieved he is she didnt get prosecuted for it to the media or then again it could just be the Daily Mail needed something to fill a couple of pages in order to appeal to its hand wringing circulation.

The photograph of the two of them in bed shows them both wearing clothes, the Daily Mail even states it was taken by a third party. Like always people making their minds up without considering the circumstances leading up to the picture being taken.
