I think his reaction looked really 'acted'. It was awkward. I'm not too sure about it. They covering of the face seemed really weird.

I think if he was genuine it was more then just the comment. Faye was on his case all day.

I always find it annoying when he covers his face during crucial moments as if it was acting. I'm not really sure how I feel about Aaron any more.

He was right to react but he overreacted. Hes been turning me off this week. Where is the Aaron that made witty remarks in the DR about his housemates? All he does is whine and cry. I guess Faye is rubbing off him.

Aaron's mojo will return once Faye is booted out on Friday. Otherwise I can see him walking to get away from the insiduousness of the snide remarks she and her new sidekick Tom feel they are entitled to make to him and about him, dragging in obviously personal issues such as his wife and son to mock him about. The B word is overused, but Faye and Tom's behaviour can be construed as an emotional form of it, finding his weakness and constantly picking and picking at it. Even Jay is joining in now - why did he feel the need to wake Aaron (not exactly his best buddy is he?) in order to get his opinion? He was just twisting the knife.

As regards the diary room, where else was Aaron able to go to unload? I can't believe people can be so sexist as to imagine men shouldn't cry when they are upset. As to the hands over his face that people are construing as "fake", I do exactly the same. I'm a very private person with my emotions and hate people(especially strangers) to see me cry. Also unless FMs are suggesting that BB deliberately cued Aaron to "act", then I will accept his emotions at face value, since he has no idea which of his diary room visits would be broadcast.

At least he doesn't wail and whinge in the house, bringing everyone down. That's why Faye is up this week.-

I'm not a crier, but occasionally I have been known to blub like a baby. I try to cover my face because I feel embarrassed, and that's just me in front of someone close to me. If I was on national TV, I'd be practically burying my head to try and avoid my crying being shown on TV, and it certainly wouldn't be acting.

Tom's a bad influence on Faye all her worst moments come when he's with her

Well said Angus - I must admit I was going off Aaron a little with the whole Faye business but now that they are going at him like pitbulls he is back as one of my favourites - anyone out of their own environment feels a little helpless and emotional at times and he is no different. As for the hands over his face, if I was sitting in front of a camera I would be climbing the walls to get away from it rather than the whole viewing public seeing me cry - not acting in my opinion. As for Jay waking him up to tell him about his "warning" that just shows what a nasty piece of work Jay is - firstly I wouldn't wake anyone up when they are asleep and secondly if I really felt I had to then it would be one of my closest mates which Aaron isn't. I feel the only reason Jay woke Aaron up was to get a reaction out of Aaron to hopefully make him look bad - and sadly he succeeded in that.

Totally agree both of your points.

Saw the Twitter Robot quote about Faye wanting to be respected for a romantic person - what does she want Aaron to do dash out and get her a bunch of flowers and some chocs?????

She's had a poor upbringing if she hasn't been taught that respect cannot be demanded, it must earned. It must also be reciprocated. She has done absolutely nothing to merit any respect whatsoever.

Extremely well said , Angus. Men should be allowed to express their emotions freely, just as it is acceptable for any woman to do so. In Aarons case, covering his face with his hands is no a sign of weakness , just one of conscious awareness that he is in a highly embarrassing, personal state of mind. I would far rather have a man who was capable of expressing his emotions healthily , over someone who turned those emotions into aggressive or abusive behaviour. As a whole, I feel Aaron conducts himself with genuine decorum and self-respect as opposed to Jay who I coudn't find attractive if he happened to be the last guy alive and Ann Summers wasn't invented !!

I didn't say that !!!
