I understand why BB had to give such a formal warning, as the remark could be construed as racist, but I don't know for sure if it was meant in a racist way. I've called someone a 'gorilla' before.. because they're big.. tall or muscular or whatever.. Sometimes I'll call them a 'bear'.. It doesn't refer to their race at all when I say it. I wouldn't be stupid enough to say it on the telly though and not expect someone to misconstrue it, so even if she didn't mean it in a racist way, she should be smart enough to know how it would come across.

It's like Marcus said back in BB10- BB called him racist because he mimicked Sree's voice, but for example if he mimicked Sophie or Freddie's voice then they wouldn't say anything about it- it is not racist and taken completely taken out of context.

It hasn't been taken out of context though has it. Anyone who know's where eggs come from are probably aware that racist people have used that as racial slur for hundreds of years. So either she's thick as ****, racist or just a nasty piece of work. I reckon two of those.

Most people with a brain wouldn't say it. Unfortunately Caroline doesn't seem to have a whole brain. I call my little neices monkeys because they're mischievous (little nightmares actually...) but I would never dream of saying that to a black child because it might be misconstrued, even though it wouldn't be meant in that way. Unluckily for Caroline she doesn't have that clutch of tact. Everything that pops into her head shoots out of her mouth without passing through any kind of thought process.
