They should have just thrown him out after his rant, the thug shouldn't still be in there.

To be honest I didn't see much wrong except that it went on for too long. I don't know, Conor shouldn't have touched him though.

No I mean the whole ordeal. He didn't have to get physical with him. A hug would have sufficed.

DS is overreacting as usual, but I do think it was fake as ****. Just a minute earlier he was cursing out Deana and Scott to himself. He clearly caught himself and tried to make up for it so to try and look good.

But yeah, it was quite weird considering Scott and him are nowhere near friends and they don't seem to have that kind of joking relationship. Scott definitely seemed uncomfortable by it.

Tbh I was kind of disappointed in how fast his anger for Scott went away. I thought that would be a full blown argument, but Conor got over it as soon as Scott reminded him that everybody does it. Really Scott should have told the same to Caroline when Benedict was still in the house.

In view of what he publically threatened to do to Deana I would definitely feel menaced if he got any where near my throat; smiling or not.

I suspect that psychologists would say it was the definition of passive aggressive. You see that kind of thing in the Sopranos and the Godfather movies. The ganmgsters often physically display affection but do it in a way that leaves the other person in no doubt as to who is the more physically intimidating. That's definitely how I saw it.

I think it's just Conor thinking he's smarter than he actually is - AGAIN.

But, to be fair, that might not be what was intended. Nonetheless if I was a producer, I'd be having an off-air chat with Conor, just to tell him the incident was noted. That way you wouldn't be unfair to the oaf by broadcasting something that painted him in an untrue light. But, if he did mean to threaten, you would be letting him know that you saw it for what it was, and wouldn't put up with any more of it.

This begs the question. BB has assured via BOTS, that Conor has been given an official warning and is being closely monitored. If he's being so closely monitored after expressing violent thoughts about other housemates, why was he ever allowed to get so close to another housemate's throat to begin with?

Conor is such a control freak he saw that Scott was getting closer to Deana and he knew that scott would probably nominate him so he had to jump on him and act all playful. Notice when he was doing it he made sure he had eye contact and that scott could no see Deana or anyone else. His tone of voice may of been playful but his body language was quit aggressive.

The show is fast becoming untenable now and i can see this being the last.
They are partly to blame as they marketed and targeted the show at a younger and lower intelligence audience than ever before and now we are seeing the fallout from that in the form of emotional immaturity and constant over-reaction to the simplest of interactions between housemates.
Well done BB fans the show is up the crapper once again wave it goodbye.

I just watched it. The actual incident seemed harmless enough if watched on it's own, but seeing him just before it, his looks and body language did portray that he was very wound up and he does come across as aggressive. I think he thought about his actions beforehand, but had to make his feelings known. It was definitely done for some kind of effect.

Before he approached Scott, Conor had slammed a kitchen door and swore,he was well peed off. The very way he twisted Scotts head and the voice he used ,no question it was to intimidate Scott.

..I think it came across as exactly what it was..someone trying to portray the exact opposite of what they were feeling..Conor was obviously annoyed but I don't think it was meant to be threatening nor did Scott seem threatened by it...if it had of been another housemate other than Conor I don't think people would be even discussing it much

Perfect reasoning, I can completely agree with this. I saw nothing that indicated Scott felt threatened at all, he didn't even tell Conor to go away or even do or say anything to indicate he wasn't comfortable.

I think you are spot on, had this been one of the others approaching Scott this way few would even be commenting never mind reading anything sinister as to it.

Angry I wouldn't like it!!

Conor was sending the house a message by getting physical with Scott. Especially as he was seething a moment previous.
Trying to cover his rage (which he finds really hard) with slap and tickle his anger leaks and his actions become threatening.
Even those charmed enough to find him attractive -personality notwithstanding- would have been uncomfortable with the grabs slaps and neck bending I hope. Even in the most passionate circumstances

Intimidation (also called cowing) is intentional behaviour that "would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities" fear of injury or harm. It's not necessary to prove that the behaviour was so violent as to cause terror or that the victim was actually frightened

No-one has the right to put their hands on anyone else whether "playfully" or not. How people can defend that neanderthal, knuckle dragging, aggressive thug is beyond me. It's disingenuous to suggest that Conor wasn't fuming when it's clear he was giving Scott the message "don't ******* with me again". What would people have said if he had put his hands "playfully" around Deana's throat instead of Scott's? She was sitting right there so perhaps the thug was sending a double message.
