They're meant to be allies and after all Dex has said about "having feelings" he doesn't want to look the bastard and ditch her this late in the day.

Especially when he knows what a schemer she is and is likely to throw a huge fake wobbler at his expense !

Convinced Charlie knows this too and that's exactly WHY she's kicking up such a sh1tstorm so close to the end.

To try to make him look bad so she can play the victim and win the sympathy vote.
If she pulls it off well, I'll be impressed but it's HOW she does it and how Dex handles it that's important !

I did sense on live feed tonight he was laying the groundwork for a possible retreat.
