just watched last nights episode it was very very good, i may even have to watch it again. Im really liking frankie i think i liked her in the original. What a total evil biatch jaqs is 1st she cuts a tattoo off frankies boob, then she forces poor bea to burn frankies hand in the press which was in the original series. God knows wot will happen but in the original bea ended up as top dog and ive heard she does in this one but i have no idea how? Unless jaqs harms debbie beas daughter or something which would make bea go off it.

Ok I've not saw the original so I can't comment on it. But wtf with this! There is so much wrong with it I don't even know where to begin.

1. It's suppose to be a prequel yet they have Laptops and Mobile Phones, that is so factually wrong it's unbelievable.

2. Bea had to be one of the most blandest characters I have ever seen on TV, I was expecting a world class character as well by the way everyone was going on.

3. The only way this show knows how to be hard hitting is to have the cast beat each other up and have sex with each other.

4. What the hell with the kid that seems to roam around the Prison without surveillance a lot of the time? Really badly unbelievable.

5. The Police guy that liked the woman that got murdered was still allowed to be involved in the case despite being personally involved when really they would've took him off the case.

6. Most of the scenes were done for sensationalism rather than purpose.

Yes I had a lot of flaws with this show after watching only 2 episodes.

It's not a prequel, it's a re-imagined series based on the characters names. It's set in current time not the past.

I think you may be mixing up the hype behind the original Bea who was a very different character than the one portrayed in Wentworth. That said she has a great story arc that builds up as the first season comes to a close.

There's much more to the series than this. However if you don't find it entertaining so far, maybe it's just not the show for you.

It's more edgy than Bad Girls, though it's hard to really compare when we've just had ten episodes. The build up to the season finale is great.

OMG its the best thing on the telly. I loved the original prisoner cell block h and I mean there was crap acting and wobbly props etc but that was part of the appeal. So when this started I was prepared not to like it but Im loving it. What im desperate to know though is the freak in this new one?

only watched the 1st part as I was so tired, I saw up until jaqs told bea to go to her cell as she had a little job for her. Then I made sure I switched off as I was getting hooked. Cant wait till later today when I will watch it all.

are we still watching this? I am and I will say some weeks are great, some are not so good, The ones that have the sex scenes in I find not so good. 1st it was the goverener the other week looking back @ her past and some kind of fetish club and her lust for Frankie now oh and the woman talking about masturbating. the whole episode revolved around sex. Then this week it was fletch and vera amongst other things like but it showed u him shagging her then he stopped and apologized she told him to go and it didn't make much sense tbh. The rest of this week actually did have a storyline, Beas daughter Debbie had died of a heroin overdose which was given by braden who is jaqs son unbeknown to bea @ the moment. Anyway 1st the governer said Bea wouldn't be able to to go to the funeral then she said she could then @ the last minute she was told she couldn't, so preceded to try to hang herself but the woman saved her and they had a little rememberance service of their own. Now next weeks looks good and its the last one this series.
