Well it's not really a debate but anyway my actual problem with the filter these days is every letter in the words being censored with asterisks, in some posts that makes it hard to decipher what word was actually used which is just stupid

What's wrong with keeping at least one letter in the filtered words uncensored so there's no confusion? Like ess tee eff you is censored for some unknown reason and that has the same amount of letters as like three other prevalent swear words, it can get quite confusing

And the c word filter has been taken to extremes now also

I would rather not have a filter, but until quite recently I never knew the reasons for it..always thought it was just to protect the kiddies from swearing, which I found a bit silly considering its primarily a BB forum and they will have heard a lot worse on the show.

I really don't understand the need for a swear filter it's one of the most bizarre things on this forum.

I also don't get why the damn thing can't be made optional...

you can day feck anyway and sh1t and **** so whats the issue?

I would like a filter that blanks out any american gay speak like gurl, mariah carey, britney, or drag fierce etc

also a cher filter would be great

People continually get away with circumventing it anyway. Pretty sure not everyone would get the same leeway.
