I keep seeing this idea that it wasnt strategic. Like, yes it was. He knew she was popular in the group and wouldnt be put up for eviction and could potentially assume she is popular on the outside and a person in his way to win. Its a similar reason Jackson probably fought so hard to give Andy immunity. He thinks he will win against Andy.

I just dont get how getting rid of a favorite is a stupid decision just because she was a favorite and everyone thinks shes untouchable. Well now her ass is out of the house with no money because she also thought she was untouchable.

He's still got loads of support online and i wouldn't be surprised if he picks up some extra support after executing such a stellar move as he did tonight!

I've seen far more people saying he did the right thing on the forums and even in all the comments on Tellymix.

The only people slating him and acting all butt-hurt are people who didn't like him already so he's lost nothing and certainly won't be going anywhere on Friday!

On top of that he gave us the best 5 minutes of entertainment during the whole series when he cut the head off the snake by getting rid of Lateysha.

I'm not understanding the reaction, unless it's because some are gutted that their favourite (or one of them) was evicted.

Jason had a choice - press the button or don't press the button.

He beat them, he chose Lateshya and it feels like some people are throwing whatever they can at Jason to call him names for playing a game that's is to his advantage as he sees it.

With Andy immune he probably felt that he was a target.

As you say with Andy been immune he knew he was the next target. He got in first and got rid of Lateysha.

To be fair to Jason, I still can't stand him, that's not having sour grapes I haven't liked him at any point of the series and I think he is even more pointless now Charlie is gone, but to be fair to him he played the game and got rid of the strongest player, lateysha had a lot of influence over quite a few in the house so he saw his chance and took it, but it just shows lateysha was right and Jason is a gameplayer! I wouldn't say he is the worst ever I just am not very happy with him right now as my favourite is gone!

So I'll be supporting Jayne now!

Also, big brother really has disappointed me or I should say the producers have with all the twists this week, the public haven't had a say in who they want evicted etc which is the whole point of the show surely? I know the game has changed and all that bull but it's just unfair, the part I really don't like is that they don't even get a proper eviction it's a real shame. I have a feeling we may get to bring someone back on the Friday show, hence why Emma is interviewing them, one will get to come back stay in the others house and mess with the main house as revenge

He had to pick someone, and his reasons kind of made sense. She's big competition, she's been on reality TV a lot already so maybe doesn't need it as much, and he didn't get on with her anyway. I totally get that Lateysha's popular, but her being a fave doesn't mean he's wrong. If he'd have picked Alex, would the reaction against him be the same? Or if Lateysha had pushed the button and evicted Jason? And anyway, if it's anyone's fault that it happened, it's Big Brother's, not Jason's.
