There's n'owt wrong with Jimmy Shand or Andy Stewart. Some of the best New Years I remember as a lad was being showered with money and goodies by a Scottish family who waited for me to let their Hogmanay in because of my (then ) jet-black hair. The whole family were always pissed and the little terrace FULL of other drunken relatives - ALL usually dancing to Shand, Stewart and Moira Anderson...

Certain people on this forum I "fancy" force me back to the perspective of a high school student.

Their responses are so concise, so eloquent and "cool" in their persona. What gets me each and every single time is when they have the perfect avatar to match and more often than not, a "snazzy" signature to match. I'm just the fallible dork who can never live up I don't know what anyone looks like physically, but I'm always amazed by the depth of some of the posters here.

I have a small crush for some of the stronger personalities on this forum... like Amy Jade, Ammi, Livia, rusticgal, kirk, Kazanne are a few names that come to mind. I'm still trying to get to know everyone's name since I've graduated from a lurker to a regular poster.

Sometimes when my favs change their avatar, It feels like a sense of loss. I love Star Trek and I won't be able to cope if kirk ever changes his current ava. Chelsea didn't stay in long enough for me to paint him as a Romulan and change my sig.

On the thread topic, I've not seen anyone's pictures so I can't comment. I don't go for this "like them for their personality" nonsense, I want to see faces and vital stats .

If I have to choose I'd probably bundle Ammi off in a white van I guess. She's always so nice about everyone... and people that nice always have a secret dark side. Always. All sorts of tricks up her sleeve I bet...
