Fortunately, economists, not just in the UK but across the US too, have been looking at this very closely and are stated for saying, this, if done right will not create a large long term deficit. What it will do is grow a stagnated economy, raise salaries, employ more workers that will, in turn, produce the tax needed to pay off any deficit. As I said earlier, its only tax that has to be paid off central bank borrowing. There's no interest and there's no IOU so when the Tories tell us that they need to tax us all more so that they can pay off the deficit its because they got stuck in the tar of neoliberalism and want to do it any other way.

And what about a source that says they want to allow everyone to come through open border Britain?!?

Yes indeed. The universities will end up being full of overseas students who do pay their way.Whilst I believe in scholarships and letting people wait to pay back their tuition fees until they have paid employment, this 'freebie' that the labour lot are going to dole out is yet another way of nanying people and not making them work hard for what they want.
Students who have to pay their tuition back, know damn well that they have to work hard to get a degree to enable them to get a job to pay their debt back.
Labour hasn't changed since they last got the country into such staggering debt that we are STILL paying for it. With them it's always 'enjoy now, pay later, if at all.

If you borrow money you have to pay it back so that creates debt fullstop

It makes me smile that his followers talk of others bring gullible. They are buying into it hook, line and sinker.

So hardly all free at all under Labour.
It's good that tuition fees are going to be scrapped it's a policy that will always get my support.
I don't see why taxpayers should pay for people to have a better lifestyle than many of them may have. People should invest in their own futures.
