I'm not allowed contactless until next year when I'm 18, do you have to have it for Apple Pay?

The other day i went in to the scummy Premier and bought a bottle of wine, it was listed at £6 but when the foreign chap rung it its said 6.99. I said "no its £6 and he said " oh so sorry " and pressed a button and it went to £6.

Fck robbing bastards, dont go into Premiers they are vile and i am sure launder money, employ illegals and dont pay tax

I never said accept being overcharged but going around acting pissy over pennies and looking down on the Staff just doing their jobs is very petty.

Some staff are twats, my friend has just stated to do home deliveries at Iceland, and they are screwing up every day, my friend's shift finished at 8 at night but was still working at 11, due to the cock ups.

A senior manager turned up the other day and said if you cant sort it get, out of my shop.
You cant defend staff when you said yourself the staff would be laughing behind his back

As long as they aren't laughing in his face then they can do what they want when he isn't there.

I said nothing in Iceland is £2.29, it's all rounded up: £1, £2, £3, or rarely 50p...like £1.50. But mostly it's rounded up to the nearest pound.

So he said I had to pay the extra 29p. I reluctantly had to break into a ten pound note.

So it was afternoon a skeleton staff was on, couldn't find an assistant, then found the assistant manager creeping about. I said, 'HEY! I've just been charged 29p extra for a £2 product.'

We went round to the freezer and saw indeed they were £2 for 5.

He said, 'fair cop', and gave me an immediate refund. Some people would have just forgotten about it, as it was only 29p. But not me.
Smug really - rather stupid actually Trading standards would have wiped the floor with them and you probably would have had a nice little Cash sorry. so you blew that one really !

If something's displaying the wrong price, I think it's perfectly reasonable to point it out to the staff and I don't see why that's something to look down on, especially as it's something that needs to be pointed out to prevent the same issue cropping up again later (as long as you're also reasonable in how you broach it and don't automatically go into "have a go at the staff" mode as plenty of customers do. Mistakes happen).

My issue is when customers argue about the price when they've looked at the wrong price ticket despite the right one being in the right place (and each ticket clearly saying what product the price is for).
