However I do think what bots says above is true; there's no point in her resigning until it's finished, it wouldn't make any difference, she might as well finish this mess and then go. Last edited by user104658; 17-01-2019 at 09:52 AM. |

She should remain in office. She's shown more tenacity and guts than any of the men in her cabinet. Don't agree with everything she says and does but I do admire her as a woman and as a politician.
If she doesn't remain in office, we have a real chance of getting Corbyn. Does anyone want that? Really? |

but to be fair, no, not under Corbyn. Tory politics is awful but at least they're somewhat honest about what they are and what they believe. I wanted to believe that Corbyn is what he claims to be but over time, it just becomes more apparent that he's disingenuous. I just don't trust that what's in his head matches up with what comes out of his mouth, even more so than the average politician.

We agree about Corbyn. We have to have a strong opposition to stand up to the government, but he's really divided people. While I admire May's tenacity, I think if there was a general election tomorrow I'd have to write "none of the above" on my ballot paper. |

I dislike so much about all the current political parties. It's a very dangerous situation though because if an election happens in the near future, its like someone disastrous on a whole new level could get in. This is a situation that is repeating itself all over the world, not just here or in America and it's social media that has facilitated it.

It makes me really happy that people seem to be turning away from Corbyn. There's a reason he and his terrorist-supporting cronies - John McDonnell in particular - were never anywhere near the cabinet of the previous Labour government. And yes, they need to be a real opposition with a real chance of getting in.

She was democratically elected. I'm tired of people saying she shouldn't be be PM. What's more, she's proved herself to have more balls than her entire cabinet. Like her or hate her... she's doing the job she was asked to do despite enormous opposition, including from her own party. And if she does resign, who are we getting to take her place, hmm?

Yes it was a Conservative Democratic Election. Before the Next Election she has confirmed she will step down. Any could take her place |

She has fuelled the division from the referendum, not done a thing to reverse it. I have never liked Theresa May even in my pre Labour days. I'd rather a different leader than Corbyn too. Both are sadly too stubborn but he is not the one in government. She is. Her endless procrastination is infuriating too. A new referendum, I think with 3 questions would likely not get any majority. Neither would a general election. I'd guess Labour or the Conservatives would just be the largest party. This has become an almighty mess of her own making. She took control of it, she has had 3 brexit Ministers in just over two and a half years. Culminating in over 100 of her own MPs voting against the agreement she presented, eventually after further procrastination by her. This is chaos from a chaotic Prime Minister. |

She's the best of a terrible Tory bunch and I'd rather have her in charge than Gove or Moggs.
