She does speak to her mum she was the only family she had at the wedding I think. Her dad's side of the family is a whole mess and have been rumoured to be incredibly racist towards Megans mother so she much better off distancing herself from them.

Have you ever thought that maybe she is high maintenance and spends an absolute FORTUNE on designer dresses twice as expensive than what Kate spends? Also the way she just kind of disowned her Dad I mean it was bad what he did but if she had reached out then it wouldn't have escalated so badly.

Kensington Palace themselves had to release an official statement (before Megan was even a royal which is rare) because they were overwhelmed with the amount of racist abuse being thrown at her. It's not the 'race card' when theres actual proof of racism.
