We used to make our masks at Halloween out of cardboard at school

Halloween was not celebrated when i was at school it was bonfire night but we were never allowed to make a 'guy' and go out begging ~ forbidden by my mother.

Halloween was celebrated in Ireland along with All Souls (the night the dead visit the houses) and All Saints, and its a bank holiday weekend in Ireland as well, we used to make masks in school, have apple bobbing or snap apple and have nuts, no sweets or chocolate or trick or treating, it was celebrated in school and at home, what we have now is the Americanised version

I remember being bored with my mates when I was about 14..we all decided to just rip our jeans above the knee and grab some broom sticks..we all went out as Angus young.
