tbh most young asians have huge fanbases, i can't exactly name one who hasn't got lower than 500k followers for example and i can name many who have many millions of followers

I think people are vastly overestimating the effect Halle being trans and her reveal will have on the final result. At some point in the show identity doesn't matter any more and it becomes purely about likeability (like when everyone thought Mikey would win BB9 for being blind but he turned out to be an annoying whinger), and Halle seems pretty one dimensional so far. By her own admission she's a bitch.

Yeah, back in Nadia’s day it was ‘new’ and not really discussed openly so drew more attention, awareness and support which carried on throughout the show (plus Nadia was hilarious). Whereas now, Hallie revealing on day 2 will garner short-lived popularity/attention which could wane in the coming weeks depending on her personality.
