Great show tonight
Thought Layton would score 40 but I did see what Craig saw there was slight timing issues with each other Ellie deserved the 40 for sure I loved that a lot Annabel and Johannes is a great partnership I'm very much enjoying her growth and journey on the show and I'd love her to make the final Nigel very much let himself down tonight and I thought he seemed a bit arrogant and moody after at the feedback but I've previously liked him so hopefully he was just annoyed at himself Angela Rippon needs to go she was miles behind everyone tonight, that was very evident in the group performance at the start Angela and Carlos surprised me tonight they were fantastic Bobby and Dianne's performance I wasn't keen on at all and he was mouthing his moves all the way through! I think it will be Bobby VS Angela R in the dance off with Angela leaving |

I'm sorry but Angela R has got to go, she's clearly the worst dancer left in the competition.
I get that she's nearly 80 tbf, but she's gone too far in the competition imo, it's really starting to show itself. And I would also argue that Ellie was overmarked, I'm not even an Ellie fan, but even I can say that she's had much better dances that scored lower off the judges, there were actual mistakes in this routine yet they're saying that she was equal to Layton and better than Angela S (who imo had her best dance of the series) and better than Nigel (who again was undermarked imo) which makes no sense to me because I would say that this is Ellie's worst dance that she's done in the series. But apparently wonky lifts and landings equals a 39 apparently, I know that we all have a bias on these Shows, but the judges need to keep their bias more in check. My personal rankings of the dances this week. 1. Angela S - I hope that the public vote for her this week, I used to say it back in TXF days and I'll say it here, if Angela S fails to go through despite upping her game then what would be the point of her returning the following week? (assuming that Angela R does leave) as the public would basically be telling her "don't bother being really good because we won't vote for you anyway" which I despise that kind of subconscious attitude on Talent Shows from the public. 2. Layton - Imo he is the best dancer, it's completely absurd that one of the polls that I've seen have him at third from bottom. ![]() 3. Nigel 4. Ellie 5. Annabel - Tbf it was an improvement on last week. 6. Bobby - He is still very lackluster as a performer imo. 7. Angela R - I've tried to not be too harsh on Angela R, but COME ON! She has to go at this point, she's the least popular contestant left in the competition, and is one of the weaker performers left in the competition. The Show really shouldn't Katie Waissel this.

Layton, Ellie and Scanlon stealing the show
Considering how much dance experience Nigel has, he should be miles better than he actually is, especially in a showy dance like tonight’s and his attitude is very off putting, he seems to believe he’s better than everyone else and doesn’t like being marked for his mistakes

Tbf I think that Nigel is a good dancer.
Imo though he still has yet to beat his Paso number.

alright my thoughts and scores
first of all, what an EPIC opening dance, great medley of song selection too! now onto the routines Bobby & Dianne: not Bobby listening to me, or reading my comments on the strictly blog then, listening to my advice in terms of his jive outfit, funkalicious, smooth and so hot how he looked as for the dancing, well very difficult choreo, so i kinda see some tiny mistakes through the fingers here, lot of variety of footwork either, good fun performance, whew, not bad for a novice 10Angela R & Kai: yeah it is really her time to go now, although didn't dislike this, was a nice enough ballroom for her as a last hurrah anyway, nice frame in hold, out of hold wise also kinda improved compared to the first weeks where she looked lost out of hold, she was also dancing it more than walking i thought 7 Layton & Nikita: i agree with Craig, streetdance can be phenomenal when everything is in sync, and this wasn't in sync, not all of it anyway, and those ballet moves don't fit well in street but that's me personally not keen on that, he also did that in his jive is he really trying to claim ballet boy title from Karim not bad but not perfect 8Annabel & Johannes: neat, clean footwork apart from one wobble near the end of the routine which was a shame, lovely musicality once again 9 sorry can't give a 10 with that one wobble Ellie & Vito: couple of moments i thought she was kinda flatfooted, apart from that this was very great fun, didn't know this song would work so well for a charleston but this was A-MA-Zing 9 Angela S & Carlos: kinda wish she kept this for a regular week tbh, maybe just me but this felt empty on that huge floor, a dance she couldn't cover the entire floor with either, properly danced though but i just wish she had a different dance for this particular special 8 Nigel & Katya: harshly undermarked i thought, some neat footwork yes i paid attention to his footwork a bit extra where i could, lovely intro with him as the conductor for that ''band'' a even extra Bond vibe from him again in this tuxedo yeah fabulous showstopper 10

1) he's only 20 years old 2) he hasn't got any dance background at all compared to Layton whom has been dancing/performing since he was 10 (don't know why they put that in his CC VT lmao) 3) that choreo this week was immensely difficult by Dianne and he pulled it off quite nicely also good on him for milking on that Mick Jagger lookalike vibes with this weeks hair style
