I don't think it's tarnishing the memory of the countless teenage boys killed in war, to point out that it's unfathomable that all throughout history, rich comfortable men have sent barely-trained children (not their own rich ones) into battle to die or come home maimed or traumatised.

As a society we are - or should be - past the point where our armies are stocked with anything but well-trained, paid, professional soldiers (and support) who have signed up of their own free will. Should we be very grateful to the people who had to go to war for us in the past? Absolutely we should, but it's NOT something to be celebrated, and not something we should ever be keen to repeat. Banal misty-eyed completely fake nostalgia for a time that never existed. It wasn't all stoicism and valiantly putting up a brave front, a lot of it was 18 year old kids, terrified out of their wits, desperate to just go home, and blown to pieces within a few days of putting their feet on the ground in Europe. Unimaginable horror. The idea is that those who came before us were somehow bigger, braver and better than the kids you see on the street today. The VERY SAD reality is that they were not. Kids have always just been kids.

In 2010 the nett mmigration figures when Labour left power was 250,00 +

After 14 years of the Cons nett migration now is 680,000+

I can't see where Labour could make that worse.

However my view of immigration and although I do believe the boats need stopping..
However that's only around 25,000 coming in them.
An extremely tiny percentage as to the full nett immigration figures.

I however don't and never will see any people, immaterial of where they're from or even think of them as just numbers to be discarded.
They're Human beings with feelings, hopes and dreams like the rest of the human race.
I'd rather show some compassion than heartlessness or any measure of any likely prejudice.

Farage actually has a point here, but I think that there's two groups causing the issue with anti-women rhetoric.

1. Radical Religious sub-groups (primarily from Muslim backgrounds, but also some from other Religious backgrounds too.)

And 2. The Incel ideology growing over the last few years due to Andrew Tate and the like, encouraging young men to hate all women.

“She’s getting real abuse to the point of ‘do I really want to be part of this?’

By any other name it absolutely is in line with (Farage-style) British values. I think perhaps here the problem is that Farage doesn't actually know what "Jihad" means and thinks it's necessarily synonymous with religious war or terrorism. Or at least, he pretends such.

The real irony is that if there was a good translation to secular struggle, Farage's own political activity is nothing sort of Jihad. Scottish Nationalists, Corbynites, Tommy Robinson, Jordan Petersson... all conceptually engaging in secular "Jihad".
