Because although we (i say we because we are all fall for it) don't realise that it makes us like that thing even more. Although we don't realise it, this does go on. Sex is the best thing to 'catch' peoples attention, and although sometimes we can't see them (the messages), when you look at a picture and it looks good, and you suddenly find yourself liking that picture more than ever...it's because something has grabbed your attention on it...more than likely on of them messages! Do you see what i am trying to say?

But the "company" who purposefully puts in those subliminal messages do it for a reason - normally to get more people to buy their product.

Why would the government put it on money? Thats not a product to sell so I don't see why they'd need to use subliminal messages on it.

That type of messages happened during the Presidential election messages in the 80's...it was a huge scandal, fortunatly that candidate didn't win, he finished 2nd.
