I dont think some questions can ever , EVER be possibly answered until death. And if their are no answers , well , we wont know that either , cause' we will be a bit dead.
Either way , we wont be able to communicate it back to the living. So on the mystery of life goes. Just ****ing live the thing I say ![]() |

What is the Universe? Answer. It's a mix of time, matter and energy but doesn't matter if you neither have time or energy.? Is the Universe in fact a spec of dust in a larger world? More like a boulder in a china shop. How does time work? It's unemployed at the moment Whats the Universe expanding into? A mess as usual Why are we alive? We are not we just think we are Literally what the hell is really going on? You hit the nail on the head. "Hell is going on like you said" |

How did scientists formulate their theory of the big bang and then extend it to their opinion that this must have created all matter in the universe within seconds? Radiation emanating from a source. An arguably one dimensional evidence that in no way disproves the existence of an infinite universe.
To say there is nothing beyond a certain point in the universe just because we are not able to measure it yet is as ignorant as saying their must be no life on the seemingly millions of planets in our galaxy and beyond just because we haven’t had contact yet… To me, the universe is infinite. If you take a particle, you can always break it down into something smaller. If there can be no smallest size, there can also be no largest size- logically. Trouble is for thousands of years we have been conditioned around religion. Science has only recently begun to come to the fore. Hence, ideas that the big bang created all matter are more generally accepted because they provide a nice ‘beginning, middle and end’ hypothesis, just like religion. I am not denying the existence of the big bang- I just think there is more to it. I don’t believe the big bang was the beginning and I don’t believe the big crunch will be the end. I think what was, will always be. You can’t create something from nothing and you can’t uncreate matter that is already there… |

ye i think one day there was a small atom containin the fundmaentals of nature gravity magnets an electric an all that then one bit flew off caused a reaction an it expands an we call it universe. its called big bang but if there were nothin there how coukld the vibration s cause a bang. it must been silent if you ask me like when emilia opens her legs to do stretches, there no sound but it get a big rection from me

What is the Universe?
Is the Universe in fact a spec of dust in a larger world? How does time work? Whats the Universe expanding into? Why are we alive? Literally what the hell is really going on? Ha ha i like questions like this. 1. The Universe is literally everything we can see around us, and also what we cant see, i.e stars so far away from us or have only recently formed and their light has not yet reached us, or the luminosity of these stars are too weak to reach us etc. Most probably the universe is all there is in my opinion, but other theories like we actually live in a multiverse and the universe is one of many much like our galaxy is one of many also seems plausible to me. 2. Ah, well i guess i answered that in no.1, if indeed we live in a multiverse i.e billions of universes in space then that would be correct. However this is impossible to prove given current technologies, the universe is indeed expanding which suggests that at one point in time (approx 15 billion years ago) the universe was very very small, what started the big bang, may hint towards a multiverse, maybe via some other spatial dimension in the multiverse a new universe was born , which started the big bang in our space dimensions , and the birth of a new universe in a sea of many. But who knows we are unable to prove what might have happened before time zero, so any theories at our stage of understanding are purely guess work and inconclusive, and well opions based on no proof. 3. Time is an interesting concept. I suppose it could be thought of in 2 ways. Either it is purely something we as humans have created due to the way our brains operate and the need for well time. Or time is indeed part of the universe and is a fundamental element of everything. Its most useful reading about how time and space is affected near hugely gravitating bodies in the universe such as near black holes, also the curvature of space and time affects orbits of the planets in a similar way that space and time is distorted near a black hole. 4. This is perhaps a concept that we create as humans but due to our level of logic and thinking has no answer. If you say to someone well the universe isnt expaning into anything, usually someone will say thats impossible or i cant comprehend that. Therein in lies the route to answer. Again with this kind of question there is unfortuately currently no way of determing the truth. In my opion the universe being all that there is, is expanding , in 3 dimensions seemingly into an infinite space. We again suffer with the word infinity its a seemingly incomprehendable word, but shouldnt be unrecognised just because we as humans cant fathom it. 5. Why are we alive? Reproduction. Simply put we live to further our existence as a species. If you get further into these kind of questions, you work down a religous path asking yourself what is the meaning of life etc. 6. Thats why i love science, because as time goes by we broaden what we know and i bet by the end of our generation we will have evolved as a civilisation even further and can answer these kind of questions with more certainty. If anyone else is i suppose a bit of a "geek" like me, you will be interested in the forthcoming results of the LHC in CERN geneva, this will recreate conditions that were present at a time very very close to the big bang, and will after some very clever people analyse the results give us some amazing insights. With all these question i have stated my views on, there is an underlying theme, that without facts no one theory carries any weight and none of the above questions can indeed be answered with any great deal of certainly. I can only try and be as clear and logical as possible in my views and hope they reflect some truth. |
