ITV , Ch4 and Sky Movies (no ads in them)

They are catching people if your on their Data
they check to see if you have a TV.


Those watching BBC Live Online
will soon have to get the BBC Tax.

is right now Peak time 5:25PM saturday
another Repeat 'hole in the wall'.


They said they would stop repeats on BBC1
in peak times,
but every other day they break their word.

I did that coz wanna be smug..


The BBC are great value for money, plus because they don't have to chase ad revenue (make programs just for ratings!) they can make programs for all tastes, funny drama to a roman history program.. Plus the BBC support new talent, always have done.

Arista i know you don't want to pay your licence but if we had the option not to pay plenty of people would not pay the licence fee, then the BBC would become ad funded or kept afloat with donations, none would do british tv any good..
All the channels and radio stations we get for that small fee is great value for money..

arista, do you realise the impact the license fee has on TV?

With no license fee, both BBC1 and ITV1 would be competing for advertisers

ITV are already struggling as it is, as are Channel 4 and five

Channel 4 and five would get less advertisers because they'd all be going to BBC1 and ITV1

Then the biggest digital channels would get all the revenue from advertisers for smaller channels

Smaller channels would go bust, some big digital channels would close and the main five would struggle

We'd end up with more repeats and more cheap TV like Cops With Cameras.

Would you basically sacrifice all of TV just to stop paying license fee?

SkyMovies is a great Example
no ads in the Film.
So for example Marmite sponsers BBC Eastenders,
product placement permitted as well.
Only Stupid New Labour block product placement.
