In all honesty I can't see how it could have been any worse, consulting with Allies should have been a given

At least we knew where we were with Trump, Biden is all over the shop

What happened is that Trump took apart all the deep state structures (that's why the fake news was against him for his entire presidency) and now we're seeing them putting those structures back in place. Endless wars suits them just dandy.

Trump got Pakistan to release all the Taliban leaders and would have done this exact thing in May when vaccination levels were even lower.
