How did your works of art fare?…

OK so this is tough...

I'll give 1pt to Player D because that is unfortunately just a little banner with words and 3 drawings, not enough of a scene I'm afraid

I am intrigued by whatever the hell is going on in Player A's drawing but I wouldn't really say this is a "scene" either, just a very strange figure...

Perhaps being a bit generous I've put Player B in third because um... whilst it does indeed tell a story of sorts, let's say perhaps that art is not something they have devoted much time to.

I like both of the other two but I have to put Player C second because I find it difficult to understand what this scene even means but I can at least spend a good few hours psychoanalysing it if I ever choose to...

which means Player E wins because I mean, come on... hang it in the Louvre and let it get stolen...

Worst horror movie (with a short clip) and reasons as to why it’s the worst.

Tusk - A guy is kidnapped by a weird Walrus loving dude and surgically turns him into a Walrus. I admit I haven't watched the whole of this movie but the idea of it is one of the worst and ridiculously disturbing I've seen. It's also grotesquely captivating

I wanted to really pick Broken 2006, but I couldn't find a good video to show off it's poor quality.

But Paranormal Activity was just a generic Supernatural Horror Film imo, that really lacked in being scary imo.

And here’s how your choices did…

Okay so "worst horror movie" can be interpreted a number of ways and as someone who does not like horror movies in general this might be a bit tough... but to me I think the "worst" ones are probably those old B movies that look so campy and cheaply-made and silly.

I can see why Player B would think this is a "bad horror movie" because if you're shopping for a horror movie this would be a bad option... but it's one of the most eye-opening documentaries certainly of this century so I cannot in good faith put this anywhere but last, so 1 point

I can see why people would think Paranormal Activity is bad but up against the other options submitted here it just generally looks like a well-made, big budget Hollywood hit and I can see why it was successful, so I have to put Player E 4th with 2pts...

As for the other three this is tough... but I'm gonna put Player C third with 3pts because whilst the Jaws sequels were definitely bad, I think they're also a product of the special effects of their time... and also I'd consider this more of an action movie than a horror one really, though I can see the blurred line. This is indeed laughably bad now but that's the 70s for you...

I'll then put Player A in second because this does seem to tick all the boxes of a bad horror movie: a ridiculous premise, some wooden acting, and some very bizarre special effects... but I get the impression this is trying to be a serious movie at least?

Which is why I give the win to Player D because this has to be a joke someone put together with a budget of $250... surely??!!?

So did you impress The Task Master?…

I found it quite funny and surprising (and indeed bone-chilling) that both teams thought to send my blood shivering with mentions of not only Niamh but Cherie and Maru too...

I will of course split the points here because we have differing rhyming schemes and both are good... but I will give Team A 3 points because their verses flow a little easier and smoothly and Team B can have a well-earned 2 points.

I'll keep an eye out for future anthologies from everyone.
