but tbh if you're PSG, and there wasn't FFP, I'd be tempted to pay that for Messi, if Bale is going for 100m..

Sometimes if it is automatically matched then there is nothing the club can do e.g. look at Gotze, even though he wanted to go to Bayern and Dortmund really did not want to sell him they could not do anything once the price was met.
