I haven’t been watching as much this year but Cath’s elimination tonight was an absolute joke, no way Mike was better in the dance off than her. Glad I’m not watching really in a way, the marks and elimination order just seen an utter mess.

Compared to other years this Halloween show fell flat! The costumes and makeup were no where near as good as they have been in the past

I'm sad to see Catherine go but I can't imagine she would have improved that much in the show from this point

As for Kevin being partnered with a Alex. I thought this should have been the original pairing from the start. But it Gorka or Graziano should have been allowed to do as they are there as stand ins surely?

Saffron I'm warming to a lot and feel like she is the strongest partner AJ has ever had

Emma W I adore and I really loved her charleston

Emma B was meh and I do think she would have been better with a different pro. She won't have long left in the show is don't think

Michelle was great but 3 10s was a bit over marked. Love her though

Mike should have left really but he did improve those rabbit ears were awful though

Chris was a bit naff but I like the guy but surely his time is up soon

Karim I just don't warm to at all

tbf when you looked at the two dances, Mike's did have a lot more content, so I agree with Shirley on that one

its all about talking points though, neither Catheryn nor Mike will win, keeping him in will ensure the show is talked about and people will tune in to see him next week, its all about ratings, also he does bring something different to the show, and Katya is great at choreography, I am happy enough

Was she? She was stiff and bland. Mike actually danced and did so with enthusiasm. Catherine looked like she couldn't be bothered.

Mike for the first time brought more effort to the dancing, and he had fun honestly, and he played the rabbit character perfectly

and this week with charleston i can see him do well at that given he had a decent week 1 jive, and his highest score of series is with his quickstep (which also has few quirky charleston elements tbf), and katya's choreo's of charlestons can be quite good and entertaining

I agree with this and i don’t know why Shirley is getting all the blame when it was also Craig who also sent Catherine home and they are all entitled to their vote and opinion and it’s their job. Cath was not a great dancer.

All the flack lies down to the popularity of the contestant rather then the dancing. I'm sad Catherine left over Mike but that's because I like her. Mike was better in the dance off so he should have stayed

Lets say we had the same scenario with

Alex scott being in a dance off against Karim. Lets say this was the second time in a row Alex had been in the dance off. Lets say she had been given a higher score than Karim. Therfore the judges save her instead of Karim. Despite Karim having the most potential I very much doubt people would kick off that much because Alex is more likeable and popular

The reason for people kicking off in this situation is because Mike isn't as popular and it's his second time in the dance off but he got a higher score so deserved to go through. People just want their favourite to go through regardless of their dance level or not
