Her 'legend' status has been manufactured completely by manipulation. Her image is based around arrogance; whether she is genuinely arrogant or not, I'm not sure, it's hard to see where the act ends and real life begins with her - and her obsessive hardcore fans reflect that. You only have to listen to her music to know that she's a musical legend, they're some of the best song of all time, ever produced. & She is in no way manufactured, the way she is is just who she is and she'll never stop. She's not just the typical pop-star, like Cheryl Cole.

Lady Gaga is a fad. She might turn out to be a really enduring artist and be around in twenty years time, still hitting the top end of the chart - then you can call her a 'legend'.
