HMV sells CD singles and they are always avalible. They are still online to buy as well. Many collectors by them plus you can still buy vinyl as well.

50,000 sales is not that great considering amount of publicity they did. This is the weakest time of year for the charts too. Big artists dont release jan/feb usually.

That song went on to be one of the biggest sellers of the year and is regarded as a classic. Not novelty trash.

Chart postion just depends on timing and who you're up against that week. Jedward didnt have fierce competition last week.
