It's not about being disloyal, basically Everton are in the same predicament as Villa trying to break into the top 8 and compete for Europe. He'll have his family to consider too but most people in a industry like that are always on the move.

He can not take Everton any further with the squad he has got and the transfer budget hes got. Really the only possible solution would be to try and get a good price on Rodwell.

He could easily be satisified on what he gets at Everton though? His family would also have to uproot themselves too which is unsettling for them but they'd have to accept it.

Is Rodwell even that good? He doesn't even play that much for Everton
