The press releases were wrong or plans have changed since then. I'm actually really disappointed by the lack of clarity by Channel 4

It's probably because they realised the site was going to crash and people would complain that they couldn't physically enter.

It'd make more sense for them for it to be a random draw..more people will sign up opposed to if its first come first serve. People wouldnt bother after say..20 minutes
