how i'm feeling now

What do you mean vibes don't count? That's how I feel and that's my reasons why I don't think he should win. It's my own opinion. So don't be telling me 'vibes don't count'.

It's still way too early to say that. Based on last night's show I think the Hms aren't actually as OTT as thought. Maybe it was the launch night excitement that got to them. Obviously I still think he was sadly chosen because of his false limbs to make him seem like an abstract character but his personality comes across as a normal, every day guy

Theres always the possibility he is incredibly irritating without the skills to avoid confrontation and a supporter of some dodgy politics. His carefully constructed appearance certainly puts him in those categories.

Mojo, the question here is whether or not Steve will end up with a sympathy vote because of his previous experiences and current disability, essentially guaranteeing him a place in the final at the expense of other, and possibly better, housemates. Ideally, the whole of the public would understand that the housemates should be judged on their contributions to the house and whether or not they deserve to stay as a result what they've done whilst housemates. Unfortunately, this isn't necessarily the case and the media (Murdoch, Sun, etc) are pushing him based on being an ex-soldier. To many fans, this is completely unjustified and essentially devalues the entire programme.
In my opinion, Steve hasn't done much and, had today been the final, would not deserve to win. Whether or not he changes over time is to be seen; if he's a good housemate, then he deserves to stay, but if he becomes irritating, abrasive, or otherwise merits eviction, then the public should vote him out. It's unlikely that this will happen because even nominating him is perceived as being either discriminatory or unpatriotic, and such a stunt means that other housemates won't be nominating fairly because they don't want to be evicted. It's also arguable that he shouldn't be in the house due to his disability, as it means possible exemption or specialised status from tasks, which is unfair to the other housemates.

Your hate against him comes from "illegal war", not how he has or gonna act on BB house. |

I'm not much of a fan at the moment, he's gonna be one that fades into the background I think.

There is something strangely badass about Steven. I think he could go far.

I have respect for him and all but Im not impressed so far. Although Im all for disabilities being allowed in the house I do think it can create awkward dynamics. Other HMs being afraid to criticize him in case they look mean.
Its not his fault but its a reality. I also think its a bad idea to just have him be the only older HM. Kind of isolates him even more. Im once again left wondering if this selection has been thought through properly. |
