It was typical passive aggressive bullyish behaviour, meant to be seen as playful and a 'forgiving' attitude but you don't need to be a psychologist to realise Connor was sending a message and displaying his dominance over Scott holding him in a vulnerable position with his hands around his throat and slapping him. His angry outbursts are masked in a playful manner. If the cameras weren't there, it would be a totally different situation.

Stellar all-star line up

It would have been perfectly innocent if:
1) We hadn't seen Conor being completely fuming just moments beforehand 2) Scott hadn't just done something to cause Conor to be angry 3) Conor had in any way shown a friendly nature to Scott in the past 4) Conor didn't already have a track record of aggressiveness |

I didn't like it either, it did have aggressive/ menacing vibe to it imo.

Conor is a barely concealed mass of seething rage. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that his behaviour was intended to intimidate Scott and it seemed to have the desired effect. When I saw him first I thought he was quite charming but he is showing his true colours more and more and they are not pretty.

He was obviously trying to mark his territory, saying 'don't mess with me, don't even think about nominating me' he's a *******.
Easily my most disliked house-mate this year, shame he's going to make the final, the only people who will nominate him are Scott (maybe) and Deana. |

Just seen it again. Conor seems at least mildly drunk, as if that is any excuse, and Scott is clearly both creeped out and pissed off by his wildly inappropriate molestations. However it was intended, Conor clearly has social graces vastly inferior to the creature that Adam was recently compared with ... Charisma is not in abundant supply right now.

I agree that there has been an overreaction and I can't help but feel that it's because of the housemate involved.
I understand that it may have looked rough (to some) and Conor was clearly annoyed at the time but I don't think he took out his anger on Scott but rather just pissed about.

I know it may have looked aggressive and menacing, as you put it, to quite a few people but it's worth noting that Conor is, by nature, quite large and tough, as opposed to Scott, who's a rather posh gentleman. I personally think that it's owning to the housemates involved and their differences above anything else.

No doubt about it, he was offering a little warning by doing what he did. Wont be long before he is kicked out, he is either pushing for it by design or will get it by default. In both cases he wont make the final.

I am not in the Conor-hating camp. Ashleigh and Caroline are still public enemy no.s 1 and 2. I try to judge each action on its merits. To me this was creepy exactly because Scott had shown NO remorse for the task and Conor was legimately angry at him. This behaviour is obviously fine with someone you are on good terms with. The three muscle boys were all pretty pissed at him for losing the table and getting defensive about it instead of apologising. Conor has also already demonstrated saying nasty things in a 'playful' manner when he is really angry. Imho this is exactly to try and get under other people's radar and avoid it overtly looking nasty. Context is everything in situations like this. |

I don't think Scott seemed in the least bothered by it, he didn't move,or try to move, he didn't say clear off he just stayed put, even when Conor moved off, it has been said many times we only get the 1 hours highlights and it may be that this happens more often.
Scott,to all knowledge hasn't moaned about Conor, made no change to his stance on the issue so was clearly not intimidated by Conor and continued his stance with Arron when Arron had a chat with him while again still not in any way seemingly offended or even referring to the way Conor went to him. I really cannot see where, whether it was right or wrong of Conor to get that close,( and I saw nothing malicious as to it at all), where Scott at the time or anytime shown after it was in the least bothered as to it taking place at all. |

That's actually the exact opposite of what Scott did. He did move, he pulled away repeatedly, and at the end, puts his hand up to keep Conor from coming back at him for a 5th or 6th time.

He didn't even get up to move away even when Conor moved back, hardly a sign of being intimidated, also he wasn't the only one there when Conor came to him and even then no one else said anything negative as to Conors actions too, including Scott himself. If someone approached me and I felt unsure or didn't want them to, I would be on my feet and telling them to back off, if I felt in any way threatened, also after the event I would have made that view known too.
