To be fair stupidhoe you are the only one suggesting that there's a link to charlotte winning and the country being in 'dire straights' I certainly haven't said that and I haven't seen anyone else say it either.

I think she can't take any criticism from the public. She proved that. GS is her only experience so far, people choose to watch it and she is lauded by that section of society. I see her disappearing unless she adapts to the price of any"fame" she may go on to have after this. Even if she changes herself into something more than representing the under belly of society. Mario to a lesser degree. Neither have served any apprenticeship and require zero talent to do their job. Like so many young people they only seek fame but can't deal with the consequences or failure.

I was happy enough Charlotte won. She is brash and not well mannered and has said and done things that would make anyone cringe. But when all is said in done I found her the most entertaining by a clear mile. I have NO IDEA why Abz came second as he was like the wallpaper of the house. Carol was bitchy and not a nice person and Lauren was so insecure. Vicky was cranky and cantankerous and preachy to the younger ones. I liked Mario but when you look at the final lineup Charlotte with her over a million twitter followers was always going to win when it came to voting

I found Lauren just as entertaining but the entertainment Charlotte provided for me was very negative while I found Lauren positively intriguing, good fun and quite comical. But like someone just said, its all over now. Wish BB14 was still on, miss that show!
