They complained because she was offensive.

Stop thinking of people as religious extremists.

Helen can be atheist or whatever she wants, she can dislike Christianity all she wants. But when that turns into verbal abuse there's a problem.

If this was about being anti-Christian (which it isn't, Helen said it in the heat of the moment) then people can put those views across without being so crass and vulgar. That was the issue.

Like I'm naming names, and they like they are going to say on the Forum that they want bleep to win because they're a woman? It sounds so ridiculous in my post and I have a woman as my favourite in this series lol.

As you said though she was in an argument when she said it, most people aren't very articulate when they're in a blasing row like that as we saw with Danielle as well yet Helen got more abuse because she's more common and is a prostitute which is really unfair.

Yes, but when people complain it's about the TV show airing offensive content.

It's not about ringing in to take sides with Helen or Danielle.

Also, the topic of this convo was the ofcom complaints, not the forum posters.

Well the posters are the only way I can tell who's got fans to some extent so it's how I know if the fans are being fair or not.

And I just got what you meant and you would be surprised at how many people supported the Ofcom complainers.

..I haven't watched any of the balm-gate stuff yet but I certainly think I would describe Pauline as a psychological bully..it's not just that she targets people and tries to turn others against them because that's quite often done..it's more that she tries to justify things to them by trying to persuade them that it's all their fault/that if they were 'better' people then these things wouldn't happen to them..a purposeful dumbing down of self-esteem in someone is something I feel is bullying...Helen..?..I've not seen anything that could be described as bullying yet..
