i have to admit, this performance changed everything for me...

I was a fan, but i wanted andrea and lauren to do better than her

but then i watched this and realised that fleur deserved to be in the final 3 more than lauren

and look how that turned out

On second viewing..Andrea was better vocally by a fair bit, but it was still the best performance tbh.

If the X-Factor means 'Star Quality' then Fleur has the X-Factor. She looks like a seasoned Star. Performs like a seasoned Star and I wish I was her manager because she is going to be 'Mega' and around for a very, very long time.

From the start on here, I had the final three as Fleur, Andrea, and Ben - in that order, and I see nothing which will make me change that prediction.

I'm actually interested to see how people would've reacted if Andrea, Ben, or SK had of done the performance exactly like Fleur did? Knowing certain members on here they would've pointed out the same flaws on their versions like I have on Fleur's.

I haven't watched this year but watched the Fleur performance and yes, it is overrated, it's a bit average.

I think for you that you might like Lauren if you catch her on the right night, and OTY are hard to dislike I think.

And to Hayden why are you describing Fleur when we're on about only Scottish Patriots would be the only ones to prefer Nicholas to Luke?

**** sake

What? YOU brought Fleur up, saying I shouldn't say it's "fact" that she deserves to win. A) When did I ever say that? B)Who says only Scottish people prefer Nicholas over Luke? Classic example of you stating your opinion as fact again...

My God...

I was only going by UKturtle's tastes in other years, it was only a prediction ffs.

And everyone knows that Nicholas was only beating Luke and Rough Copy in the end because of the Scottish Nationalist vote, it's not just me that thought it at the time but most people was thinking it at the time to explain how Nicholas was getting votes.

And to your original point if Fleur was still losing to Lauren in the vote after all the time slots favouring Fleur by a distance, song choices, stage productions, and being in Simon's category and everyone listening to his every word like Sheep, then I would be very embarrassed if I was Fleur as I think anyone on here could be where Fleur is at the minute if they was given all that help.

Loads of good acts get voted off the show before the final, that's a silly comment to make imo.

You are taking the piss now... aren't you? "Everyone knows"... another example AGAIN of you stating your opinion as fact. Show me the voting figures that said 99% of Nicholas's vote was from Scotland? Show me the papers that clarify Luke Friend and Rough Copy are 'factually' better than Nicholas? I'm not a Nicholas fan, but you are once again stating your opinion as fact. Nicholas finished second, beating 10 other acts that year - therefore the voting public preferred him more than the others.

I really don't understand why you keep bringing hypothetical Fleur situations into these debates. Fleur has outlasted Lauren purely because she got more votes than her - therefore more of the voting public wanted to see her progress than they did Lauren. It's really not a hard concept to grasp.

Yeah, but at the end of the day the ones that the voting public prefer will stay in longer than the ones that they dislike or don't care for.

Lauren came 4th, and could've been 3rd in the votes and that was with all the derailing that was thrown her way, I think the public showed that they cared for Lauren, would the public have shown Fleur the same courtesy if she was receiving Lauren's treatment?

And every poster that I saw on here, DS, Facebook, and Twitter that was supporting Nicholas last year was from Scotland.

these Fleur vs Lauren debates are old now
we're just going round in circles

it was between Lauren & Andrea so why not be mad at the judges for not letting it go to deadlock??? instead of dragging Fleur into it who had nothing to do with it!! she got 1 of the highest votes along with Ben straight into the final !!!

Ben & Fleur have never been in the bottom 2 !! so by your logic you might aswell say would Ben survive or get same treatment as Lauren?

There you go again with irrelevant hypothetical questions...

And just because every poster that you saw on a forum was Scottish and supporting Nicholas does not mean that he finished in second place because he got the most votes That's like saying every single poster you saw on here that supported Lauren was white, therefore all her fanbase must be white

That's a silly comparison because people don't go branding themselves on the Internet as white, black, asian, or hispanic or whatever ethnicity that you can think of.

And with Lauren she seemed to get a really young male support base from what I can see.

Ben and Fleur are heavily favoured, and would've only survived off their looks at first, until Simon rigged things in their favour.

And Andrea was the natural winner in this series until he also got derailed.

for years people have been saying the whole show is rigged so why are you only accusing Simon of rigging things ?? just because both his acts are in the final is that why??

here we go again with looks if Fleur & Ben are just favored for their looks and if the public are soo shallow then why did Chloe Jasmin get kicked out very very early ?? she was a pretty girl with class

and why didn't Jack last longer then?? seen as people fancied him

just accept that people like listening to Ben sing & perform and they like listening to Fleur sing & perform

Chloe was not very pretty.

And Jack was clearly derailed, on early every week, horrific song choices that didn't suit him, and he seemed to have a massive falling-out with his mentor so they turned on him even more, if it wasn't for his looks he probably would've gone when he performed Straight Up.
