I've done the first verse, just need to sort out the other two and figure out wtf i'm gonna do with the chrorus/bridge bits cus the song I picked doesn't allow for much changes in that regard.

It's the worst entry I've ever done though, I haven't had as much time lately as I did with previous entries so I'm just throwing out the lines whenever I can.

Aren't the results the next night so surely there's enough time for people to go through each entry properly? Sometimes I rush through entries because I'm trying to keep up and when people post "amazing entry right after it has been posted is a bit sketch.

The way I'd encourage long-term writers to keep coming back to this is that we seem to have a tendency of winning with what we thought was "our worst song" - I know Dezzy agrees and I certainly do. I make up a picture of Patrick & Karl to sing about Josef Fritzl and take the crown, but I literally rap as Nigel Farage to Super Bass and get paid dust </3 (but did lose to a great song tbf). Jake's another good example, won with something he wrote in 10 minutes but "flop"s* with Ken/Jade.

and poor Z never won a single edition </3 despite some absolute belters. So all in all - if you write something actually amazing you're probably going to lose anyway x

*i'm sure it finished highly but "not winning", I mean, basically
