At least it's on par with the same episode from UK VS USA

Unfortunately, it was up against the World Athletics Championships on BBC1 which really hurt last night's ratings.

Tbf Saturdays have been outrating other days in previous series so I'm not too concerned about that.

Hopefully that's just a blip because of the athletics. It was a good episode last night.

The civilian BB's 10:30 ratings were higher than the normal schedule though it is a big drop for last night but it had massive competition with the Athletics.

Just shows that people must have been interested in the cast, that's why it held up after launch - but they're not interested in how the series is playing out already
Even for 10:30 CBB should be better

It's just not a very interesting series so far so ofc the ratings aren't gonna be good.

If the series picks up in a week or 2 they'll increase again

It's not, that was 820k in CBB16.

Yikes though. I hope it picks up. It would have been screeed against the athletics though which hit 9m.

Maybe the ratings were measured between 10:20 and 11:20 instead of the actual time it was on because all the TV guides said it started at 10:20 even though it didn't. Maybe I'm just in denial but I just can't see those ratings being accurate because I know loads more people who are watching it but didn't bother with the normal series.
