Well it is great that he has found the courage to tell all, I say good luck to him and I am sure that many others will. When we are all perfect and can truly look up and say that we have never made a bad joke of any kind, a joke which seems cruel but without intent then ok hang him......nah good luck to him he slipped up and he has paid the price

It takes a great mind to admit ones fault, now let him get on with his life. It was just unfortunate it was in a show.

Upward and onwards, he has entertained many and we thank him for his input, now who is going to win.....

Cameron for me....

He was not offending anyone intentionally, it is the intent which counts and which should have been taken into consideration. The world is a sorry place with many tears, sometimes laughter belays the fears.

I wonder how his fans will defend him now.
Many will stand by him and feel sorry for what happened. He may even get more support.

Those who dont like him at all and have been against him in the show, will condemn but if they do I hope that for evermore they watch what they say.

If they did it in a satirical way like Lewis did then yes, they would be defended.

Depends if he was impersonating anyone?...or he was instructing someone. Huge difference.

but they would if it wasnt said maliciously. It is just a shame that in this world we put everything under headings. We shouldnt have to look at someone and say oh he is this and he is that, it doesnt matter we are all from the same source with different thought. I am not religious but doesnt it say somewhere in the bible, when man speaks with the same tongue. Why separate have some faith in life itself. Life is bad though to be fair but someone has to begin....

If he had just said Auschwitz (which I have trouble believing you could say instead of outfits but that is neither here nor there) then I would agree his ejection was unjust but since he actually said 'kill the jews' I feel it was the right decision.

Even as a joke it just isn't funny.

Isnt that what Hitler did?...people have been impersonating Hitler for years saying such things. It wasn't meant to offend and he apologised to anyone it did. A warning maybe..just to be more aware of the sensitivity...but not ejected.

I don't see it as an ejection issue either.
In fact I haven't agreed with other ejections.

It's odd a misguided and extremely foolish incident in the context of humour, warrants ejection.
Of course warn him, a formal and final warning should have sufficed.

If I believed or knew anyone was or was being anti semetic,.I'd want all thrown at them.
This wasn't such an instance and it seems he realised the concern that could be too, so raised the issue himself.
That should be shown.
It's not something he brushed, or tried to brush under the carpet.

Kazanne said, it is what it is and some who disliked Lewis as a housemate also advocate it's not an ejection worthy incident.
It's all really sad and could have been handled so much better by all concerned.

I will disagree with this - as someone who uses humour as a defense mechanism for the majority of things in life - i sometimes make jokes about things I shouldn't to try and lighten the mood - maybe that is simply what he was doing... Lets be adults and take offense where it is meant and not where it is grasped at.

As much as the impression and his words were tasteless and horrifically misjudged, I definitely don’t think it warranted ejection, a formal warning and a slap on the wrist would have sufficed if they weren’t going to show the incident anyway.

Like Lewis would listen to a warning, he’s been breaking rules all series. There were desperate measures taken to ensure he wouldn’t get evicted but then the clownery bit back. He deserved to get ejected.

Even though Lewis has now said what it was (to be commended in all honesty, he could have left it). However....unless people are shown it on film we still can't judge how or in what context it was said. It needs to be put to bed now. As its stands, any anti-Semitic, racist, sexist or homophobic language is poor humour....call it satire if you want, I call it unfunny

I do think for Lewis, this will boost his moment of fame far more than winning the show would have done.

I'm bored of it now though....time to move on

If the auschwitz comment was a slip of the tongue, (cant see how though), he might have got away with it if he had just said oops sorry, and then stopped he might have got away with it. But to follow it up with a very poor taste joke, was just wrong. After all there really is' many true word spoken in Jest'. It was right to eject him.
