But the other teams have actually bought players to replace the ones they've lost. We sold JH and fab for £53m and we don't' have £50m to buy Lavia - the CDM we desperately need. We've sold or released 8 players this off season and we've bought 2 and are now playing poverty again. 1 or 2 injuries and top half will be in doubt. Completely threadbare/old/worn out squad.

I know you moan about the glazers but ETH has a higher net spend than Klopp and he's been at utd for 1 year. Klopp has been here 7.

friendlies don't mean much tbh, i mean these are perfect for experimenting what you can improve upon

winning is nice, but even if you lose in friendlies, still a good learning experience for the new season


Fortuna Sittard, we lost quite some friendlies, but with small margins, and against the free agents team VVCS we turned a 0-3 at half time around to a 4-3 win so that fighter spirit is there, something what we lacked last year, being motivated to keep going even if ur behind

Koopmans ain't bad but he ain't first choice material like Pandur, good enough for the cup i guess, is better than Van Osch so
