A Honduran immigrant now faces a charge of manslaughter after police said he crashed his car while driving drunk early Monday morning, July 8, 2024. A six-year-old child who was a passenger has since died from

The Trump campaign has invested huge amount of time and also a rather large amount of money in running a negative anti-Biden campaign based on his age and competence.

They're absolutely reeling lol. They'll find their new "hook" eventually though (and then supportive members will have their prescribed wee package of stuff to say). It's a bit of a scattershot at the moment. They're testing out this "Border Czar" thing. I personally think that's a non-starter.

I was listening to biden last night in his speech to the nation and I realised what the main problem was. Biden is an old school politician, it's part of his dna to treat everyone with respect including his opponent, so he wont go to the places needed to attack a threat like trump. It's just not him

‘We choose freedom’: Kamala Harris campaign launches first ad…


The Harris for President campaign has launched its first official video, less than a week after US President Joe Biden announced he was dropping out of the race and his vice-president Kamala Harris said she was running for the nomination.

The ad caps a week during which Harris also broke funding records and quickly clinched enough delegate support to become the presumptive nominee in an election that is now just over 100 days away.

Released on Friday morning, the ad opens with shots of Harris’s smiling face behind a podium, the word Kamala, the word Harris, and the American flag. The soundtrack is the beginning of Beyoncé’s song Freedom, to which Harris entered and exited her first speech to campaign staffers after gaining lightning speed momentum on the road to becoming the presumptive nominee.

The ad is narrated by Harris, whose first words are, “In this election we each face a question. What kind of country do we want to live in?”

She continues: “There are some people who think we should be a country of chaos. Of fear. Of hate,” she says, over shots of Trump and JD Vance. “But us, we choose something different.”

The voiceover pauses for a crowd chanting, “Kamala! Kamala! Kamala!”

I dunno he missed quite a few . Not judging honestly - it would take me 10+ whacks at the ball, I cannot really golf whatsoever - I'm sure he's a decent player for a non-professional and certainly for a nearly 80 year old non-professional - but that video certainly didn't convince me that he's like GOOD good.

Though again he is nearly 80. He was no doubt a better player 10 years ago.
