Transcript of tonight highlights ...

Day 72

11:28am - The housemates are gathered on the sofas. As they have failed this week's shopping task and will have only a basic shopping budget, Brian is reading out instructions for them to gather all the remaining food and return it to Big Brother within 30 minutes. The housemates go about emptying the fridge and any hidden stashes of food, while eating as much as they can. Carole says it's taken them weeks to get certain things like olive oil, and Gerry smells the olive oil before it has to go. He says this week will be a "survival of the fattest".
In the garden, Ziggy says Carole will be a "nightmare" with only basic food rations for the week. "It's just the way she is. It will be impossible, I promise you, you will feel like a 5-year-old".

2:09pm - The housemates have been given a shopping budget of Ł77, and have decided to have Ł5 each and Ł22 for communal items. In the garden, Gerry is telling Brian that when he leaves the house and goes to certain clubs girls will be checking out what he's wearing, and how much money he's got. Brian says he will tell those kinds of girls to "jog on", adding "I've already found a girl I like. A lot closer to home, if you get my drift". Gerry replies unenthusiastically "Yeah, ok, that one".
At the dining table, several of the housemates are talking about the food budget. Carole says they will have to live on bread, butter and milk. "I can't eat bread, butter and milk all week" says Liam. He goes out to the garden and continues to complain about "bloody bread, butter and milk".

5:01pm - Today's task is a "model off" where housemates have to design, create and model clothes. Housemates have chosen Carole and Brian as the "most judgemental" housemates, therefore they will be the judges. They have decided that the "most beautiful" housemates are Sam and Amanda and Ziggy so they will lead the two teams.
Sam and Amanda's team - Gerry, Amy and Kara-Louise - have the theme of "teenage pop star working in a garage" and Ziggy's team - Liam, Tracey and Jonty - have the theme "new rave garden party". The teams start working on their outfits and Carole and Brian are talking to them as they prepare. Brian looks at Ziggy's team's outfits and then tells the twins' team that their (Ziggy's team) outfits look like there's been "an explosion at a clown factory". Brian returns to the garden to tell Ziggy "you so look like Zoolander now!"

7:41pm - The housemates are all in the garden where a catwalk is set up for the "model off". Gerry and Liam are up first, with Gerry dancing down the catwalk in a black top and skirt, followed by Liam looking reluctant with an eye-patch, a purple cape, striped leggings and yellow material tied around his waist. Kara-Louise is next, and dances confidently, even getting on top of the judges' table and gyrating in front a thrilled-looking Brian. Jonty is next with fluorescent pink material draped over him and leopard-skin leggings. Tracey and Amy take their turn, with Tracey dancing in a flower-patterned dress. Amy then appears in tiny pants and a camouflage scarf covered her breasts. She crawls along the catwalk and then dances sexily at the judges' table. Brian says "You took Jodie Marsh's unique collection to a completely different level" while fellow judge Carole complimented Amy and said "Loved the moves, love the outfit - what there is of it!"
Amanda and Sam are next, and strut down the catwalk in tiny camouflage tops and skirts. Brian's tongue is literally hanging out as he watches them. Ziggy is next and is wearing a top and blue skirt, but then takes off the top to reveal the words written on his back "Don't be fooled by breasts Brian". At the end of the show, the judges Carole and Brian decide that Amanda and Sam's team has won. Ziggy jokes to Brian "we lost it before we even went out there!"

9:34pm - Most of the housemates are in the living area. Ziggy is telling Amy "I just miss her… I think it's my fault she's not here" but then says he'll just keep his feelings to himself. Amy replies "Why do boys do that? Do you know how much it irritates us all? Don't do it! … why can't boys says what they're really thinking and feeling?"
Tracey and Liam are in the garden talking about Amy. Liam says that it would be "too much of a *******ing issue" to be with Amy when they leave the house. Tracey says "I thought she'd be your cup of tea?". "Nah" replies Liam, before then going on to say that his "cup of tea" is "any colour skin, any colour hair, any colour eyes …boobs is boobs right, whether they are little, big, medium, if they look good they look good right,. I like to get in amongst it…." Liam then says to Tracey "In the last couple of weeks I've been getting along with you a lot more than I have through the whole thing. It's not 'cause you've changed, it's because other people leave and a different side comes out, one that's muted a little bit by other people."

10.20pm - Carole and Jonty are at the sink. Most of the housemates are at the dining table eating spaghetti and soon some of them start to throw it at each other. Carole gets annoyed when she sees this and tells Jonty that they shouldn't be throwing the food around because Big Brother will give them slop next week.

10.38pm - As a reward for completing today's task, Big Brother has provided housemates with alcohol and is playing music. Carole is cleaning the kitchen area. The housemates are dancing on the sofas to I'm Too Sexy. Ziggy takes his top off and tells the other boys to do the same. Jonty takes his off. Liam tackles Jonty to the ground, and starts gyrating on him. Jonty then gets up and starts dancing close to Kara-Louise.

12.32am - Sam and Jonty are in the living area, and Sam is singing "Glamorous….G.L.A.M…." and then asks Jonty if he knows the song. Jonty replies "Is that the one that goes Y-M-C-A?"At the smoking area Liam tells Tracey he thinks Amy has had one too many drinks and is acting like a "big shot". "It's funny when you see people change with a drink inside them" he says. In the bedroom Amy and Brian are lying on the bed. Amy tells Brian that he should go outside with Amanda and "give her some love". Brian says he doesn't think Amanda is interested and says he finds it annoying, fancying someone in the house. Amy says that she knows how he feels. She tells Brian that she fancies Liam saying "I just want to ride the ******* out of him." She then adds "but I don't want to look like a desperado".

1.26am - Liam and Amy are in the bathroom where Amy is brushing her teeth and Liam is playing around and trying to kiss her while she has a toothbrush in her mouth. Earlier in the evening Amanda told Big Brother that she had a small cut on her foot. Big Brother has called her to the Diary Room to get bandages and antiseptic. While she's in there Gerry and Jonty barricade her in by putting a broom across the handle. When Amanda leaves, she bangs on the door and screams "Carole! I'm stuck Carole!" The housemates run to the door and Liam, Ziggy and Tracey jump on the dining table, pull their trousers down, and reveal their backsides to Amanda.

2.43am - Amy walks out of the bathroom, and climbs into bed with Liam. She lies with Liam's arm around her and looks up at the ceiling. Liam yawns and Amy bites his arm, playfully.
In the Diary Room, the twins are asked how the evening has been. "Dead good" they reply in unison. Sam says the boys have told them they are "not innocent anymore just 'cause of the dancing". When Big Brother asks who is getting on with whom in the house, they say Amy and Liam have a "flirty" thing, and then Sam says "ok maybe Brian might be flirting a little bit with Amanda". Amanda becomes shy and tries to quieten Sam. Sam says "Ok. It's only Amy and Liam then." Amanda puts her hand over Sam's mouth. They are giggling. Sam continues "I've been watching him, especially when he was drunk. It was so cute." She says he flirts with Amanda and pulls a "cute" face. Amanda looks mortified and tries to stop Sam talking. Sam says Brian told her "I love your sister", then clarifies "I don't know if he said 'I love her' but 'I really like her' or something like that." Amanda looks embarrassed.
