It's true, for some strange reason the majority of females base who they like the most on looks. Some of them may still like one or two of the girls, but will have a boy as their favourite...which isn't fair in a singing competition if the main reason you like them/vote is because you fancy them.

Although I doubt there's any majorly successful Leona myspace's out there...and she was the winner previously. So perhaps your own Kimberly myspace was a waste of time no matter what the result.

Forums are best for fan pages, but even then only major A list celebrities have their own successful forums devoted just to them. Perhaps the odd person who's on a lower list but is liked all over the UK and well known, but only rarely.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. Girls vote for the guys because they are 'hot' 'fit'.

It's so annoying, because good singers go, and cr*p singers like Leon, Futureproof, Andy stay. And none of them are that good looking anyway.

What really gets to me is the way girls can look at men, compared to the way men look at women.

Guys can just be perfectly honest and say "she's fit, I wouldn't mind" and leave it at that. They stay perfectly calm and composed, have no major obsession, but just say the girl is good looking.

Whereas girls can often be found screaming, throwing underwear, feinting, writing "I LOVE YOU" in their journals/notepads, claiming they want children with that person and to marry them etc.

It's just plain madness for me to comprehend somebody acting and feeling that way, it must be some kind of internal thing built into the majority of teenage girls and quite a few older one's.

There are 35-65yr old women out there with Cliff Richard posters or Jamie Cullum, who chase these male celebrities all over the country or sometimes even the world...and long to be with them.

Sure, you get some males that have obsessions with females in a similar way, but it's usually just down to pure sexual reasons..not wanting to form a life with that person >_<

lol yep, girls do my head in at times I can tell you I ent like that, neither out most of my girl mates.

Some girls out there are so shallow and I hate shallow people, it really annoys me so much lol
