It will be a tough act to follow Season ten - We thought that was the final one commissioned by the Network. That season was part of a large story arc that started in Season nine and continued in Tales Volume Three - If you want to dig them out you will see why.

Just re-reading all of this thread, where I advertised from Season Six through to the impending Season twelve.

Did anyone ever make it through the whole of my "War of the Realms" story arc? It went from Season Nine through Tales Volume three to Season Ten.

The release The Mystical Realms Sagas Season Twelve has been postponed.

Still trying to find out why,

One unconfirmed rumour is citing legal issues concerning possible copyright issues.

The only copyright issue I know of was that YouTube took exception to an audio track on one of the trailers, which was fixed when we changed the audio to accommodate their concerns.

Another rumour is that it is due to some writers dispute, news to me

Marketing have not been returning my calls, so I am wondering if they have decided that there is a timing issue or some cynical marketing ploy.

It was supposed to have been this weekend, and they say they are working to resolve this.

This is utterly ridiculious - I have waited far to long for this. I just think it's another gimmick, like the X Factor and everything else these days After the travesty that we got in the irregular postings of Season 11 I am truely finished with this. Way to ruin a weekend.

The irregularity of season eleven postings is briefly explained here, suffice it to say, my access to writing time was severely limited by changed circumstances.

As for season 12's delay, since this scare, here, Legal have been a pain in the nether regions, so I would not put it past them that they will be wanting to make script changes. They never gave me this trouble over season four

I think my fan fiction dedicated to the Mystical Realm saga just didn't take off, I'm not sure why. The plot was mesmerising though, I had already outlined some ideas for the next four seasons but nobody really seemed to care.

Maybe the admins could create a Mystical Realm fan fiction section though, where we could all write some spin off plots.

Legal have got tight lipped over this and were meeting some suits I did not recognise, something is up.

I tried Marketing but all I keep getting is that the number I have been dialing is no longer recognised.

What is a mere writer to do when these corporate types come and stomp on us

Meanwhile all I can do is continue to polish episode one

It seems our network bosses went to the Jo Moor school of PR by dropping on us the bombshell when the news will be all about some autumn statement

The holding company of the network that was commissioning Season Twelve has filed for Chapter Eleven bankruptcy in the US and all projects in the UK have been spiked.

I warned them that this is what happens when you contract out instead of doing things in house, but did they believe me

Am now in talks with a new network to see if they can take Season Twelve on so we can still publish on this channel. If things go to plan we may be able to start this weekend, but don't hold me to that.

In other words life seems to have got in the way of things

We may be looking at next weekend before I can start publishing, not sure yet. I have a few things on, partly because of the run up to the Yule tide festivities and also because of other things that crashed in.

These things could get in the way of crafting further episodes, and someone complained that season eleven postings were erratic.

My episode one has been waiting to go on my season 12, however the crafting of the next episodes may be disrupted due to various functions I am required to attend because of the festive season, especially next week.

I am now limited in where I can do my writing so publication of episodes will be erratic, which was a complaint Jesus. had about season eleven.

If that is still an issue with some I suppose I could delay a further week to get past next week, which would definitely impact on my writing availability.

Let me know what the feelings are on this.
