I agree that it's not so much about the action but the reaction...Michael's initial reaction was laughter, then confusion, then remorse....a natural reaction for a non-creepy, totally normal guy who got drunk and was having fun. He tried to apologize, what more do you guys want? And what other actions are you basing his "vile" "creepy"ness on?

Sylvia's reaction was initial shock, and then she had a VERY condescending rant at him, and continued to spout venom at him, mario, and anyone who defended him for the rest of the day. And I won't bring Alex into this but she was just as bad.
Saying he was drunk is hardly a defence. Some people become violent when they are drunk, does it excuse that too?

Perhaps if he is such an idiot when he is drunk, he should be careful not to get so drunk in future! Like I said, to many people, it may be 'just a laugh' but to others it is embarrassing.

He doesn't know the girl for one, he was stupid to do something like that.

Saying he was drunk is DEFINITELY a defense. Have you ever been drunk before? And how can you equate putting on a piece of fabric with getting violent? Those are two very different actions.

The only two that weren't laughing were Alex and Sylvia...no one else in the house, including their buddy Dennis understood why they reacted that way to HARMLESS fun.

He doesnt know the girl, you're right, and so he didn't know her boundaries. Now he knows. Personally, I would guess if someone came into the BB house where nudity and drunken mishaps are commonplace would be a little less prudish...and I would guess the people watching would be less prudish too.
It was a basic mistake! You never know how someone is going to react unless you know them pretty well.

And I still don't think being drunk is this perfect defence that excuses all stupid behaviour you seem to think it is.

If you get drunk and act stupid, you still deserve to get flak for it! After all, it was your decision to do it and if you are in the habit of acting that way after a few, you should take responsibility for it.

And I agree, he knows now (if he can remember!) and he learnt the hard way. Honestly, I felt a tiny bit sorry for him, I think if he has any sense, he will be more careful in future...

I have already stated that in the case of my point - this is not the case.

Mikey got more than enough flak for his actions, IMO. Being drunk isn't the perfect defense, but it is a defense. Another defense might be that Mikey is eccentric, or that Mikey may not be used to being around such conservative people.

I'm officially done talking about this...I keep having to reiterate the same points and I'm going crazy. Mikey didn't commit murder, and if it was truly morally offensive BB would've taken action.

Nah, everyone is equal. Eccentric people shouldn't be able to get away with more than people who aren't eccentric and I'm glad he did get flak for it. They obviously didn't think him being drunk was an excuse either.

And I don't think a girl would have to be conservative to be offended by some guy she hardly knows prancing about in her pants!
