Synthesizer based. I have just been starting out the past few months so I'm not really tying myself down to any genres. I always wrote lyrics anyway, so that's where it all starts then I jam on the guitar or piano to come up with music to fit the lyrics.

That instrumental track in particular is in a non existent genre called Industrial Lounge. It has all these clangy sounds but the BPM is 103 so it's a bit bizarre hence Industrial Lounge. The bassline is a sample of me slamming a gate out the back yard.

If I was to say where I wanted to head it would be industrial tinged synth rock. Grimy, grungy, debauched synth rock. None of this new age 3OH!3 style crap with the bleeps and saws thrown on top of generic Alt. rock.
