Drama be it true or not should always be as correct in relation to history as possible.. Political correctness should not influence drama casting decisions if it generates unrealistic perceptions.

Even though black people may have been around at the time the probability of Robin hood not being white makes the classical historic character look unrealistic from a drama accuracy perspective.....

Obviously I expect to see you complain about any of the depictions over this easter of a white Jesus. As given that everyone else from that area is a shade of brown, being the middle east and all that, then it is a good guess the the big J was brown too.
